Habarana City
Habarana village is located where A6 Dambulla-Trincomalee road meets A11 Anuradhapura-Polonnaruwa road in the district of Anuradhapura nearly on the border of adjoining district of Polonnaruwa.
Hiriwadunna Lake
Hiriwadunna is manmade reservoir that lies near the village’s outskirts and locate in North Central Province and has an elevation of 176 metres. It is situated north of Kuda Migaswewa. Hiriwadunna lake is near to Hiriwadunna village which is 3km away from Habarana. The amazing birdlife, butterflies and possible sightings of crocodile only add to the charm of seeing the villagers as they go about their early morning tasks of fishing at the periphery of the lake.
Catamaran ride in Hiriwadunna Lake is very famous activity among the every tourist who visit Sigiriya. The best part of the hiriwadunna lake is with a view of Sigiriya and Pidurangala that’s your chance of seing both the rocks as your background scenery.

Anuradhapura is belongs to the North Central Province in to Sri Lanka.Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Lankan civilization. The city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies 205 km north of the current capital Colombo in Sri Lanka.
